Yoga Shouldn't Be So Hard, Suffering is Optional, the Power of Now!
This class contains the following modules:
1) Maybe Yoga Shouldn't be So Hard
Maybe instead of trying, judging and admonishing, we could just stick to the things we can do: Asana & Pranayama.
2) Special MLK-Day Class on Non-Violence
When we stand in non-violence, we only gain things. We stand FOR things, rather than against them, and everyone benefits.
3) Suffering is Optional
Ever hear the Buddha's famous words "suffering is optional?" This wisdom is useless without a practical application.
4) The Power of Now
Eckhart Tolle made millions by telling people about the "Power of Now." This is an important concept within yoga, because NOW is really the only moment we have.

Alanna is "the teacher's teacher" and is listed as one of Yoga Journal's top 20 teachers under 40. Her approach fills in what's missing in yoga: mythology. She is anti-dogmatic in all things, and her love of science confirms her spirituality, rather than negates it. Alanna’s vision picks up where Joseph Campbell left off — to empower people to connect with and embrace their humanness.
