Intro to TKYM, Open to Possibilities, How to Free Suffering, and more!

The course includes the following modules:

1) Introduction to the Kaivalya Yoga Method

During this class, we learn what Kaivalya means, and why it is the title of this yoga system developed over a decade of practice and teaching.

2) How to Be Free of Suffering

Eastern traditions have given us tools to end suffering and create freedom in our lives. Yoga Sutra 2.33 tells us directly that if we have a disturbing thought we'd like to be free of, we need to turn it around.

3) Open to Possibilites

This class focuses on strategies to stop creating limits around what is possible in our life.

4) Art of Appropriateness

One of the coolest qualities of a yogi is that we can be cool in all types of situations. Learning and understanding the art of appropriateness is key for ease in all aspects of life.

Alanna Kaivalya

Alanna is "the teacher's teacher" and is listed as one of Yoga Journal's top 20 teachers under 40. Her approach fills in what's missing in yoga: mythology. She is anti-dogmatic in all things, and her love of science confirms her spirituality, rather than negates it. Alanna’s vision picks up where Joseph Campbell left off — to empower people to connect with and embrace their humanness.
